As Vice President of Construction, Gary Stofcheck leads Sebert Landscaping’s $11 million+ commercial construction division, spanning operations across two states. He oversees a team of five project managers and more than 45 field professionals, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of complex construction projects.

With over 30 years in the commercial construction industry — including 19 years at Sebert — Gary brings deep expertise across the full project lifecycle. His background covers a wide range of project types, including commercial, industrial, educational, and municipal developments. He holds a bachelor’s degree in landscape Contracting from Mississippi State University.

Gary is known for his strategic leadership and his ability to align operations, finance, and customer experience. His focus on accountability and collaboration has played a key role in driving Sebert’s sustainable growth.

His personal values of integrity and environmental stewardship strongly reflect Sebert’s mission: to create outdoor spaces that not only enhance our clients’ properties but also respect and protect the natural environment.

Outside of work, Gary lives in Crystal Lake, IL with his wife and two sons. He enjoys staying active by playing roller hockey and—when time allows—jumping into a few rounds of Fortnite.
