Here at Sebert, environmental stewardship is more than a promise — it’s how we operate. We are actively transitioning our operations to reduce our environmental footprint by using battery operated equipment, setting us apart from our competitors. Since 2022 we have invested 5 million dollars and will continue to invest into EV Mowers and have continued to expand across all our branches with these machines. Sebert now has the biggest fleet in the country with 200 EV Mowers out in the field being used every day by our crew.
In order for this to work, we have to outfit each of our locations to give them enough electrical power to charge each trailer overnight. And this is just the beginning as we plan on continuing to expand and grow our battery powered fleet and lead the future of innovation in the landscape industry.

Landscape Maintenance FAQs
If it rains on your scheduled mow day, your service will be pushed to the next day. Rain can affect our entire schedule, so we appreciate your patience and understanding when periodic weather delays occur.
Yes, we do — We will still visit your property each week, but our crews will focus on other tasks as necessary during these periods, items such as touching up spade edging, sidewalk edging, spot pruning, bed weeding or any other tasks you may want done during periods of drought or high heat.
Our standard maintenance contract includes:
- Spring and fall clean-ups
- Weekly mowing
- Weed control
- Fertilization
- Tree and shrub pruning
- Spade edging
We recommend aeration in the spring or fall. However, aeration, overseeding, and other specialty practices are not included in the standard contract and are available as add-on services.
Yes, our crews pick up landscape litter and debris as part of our standard mowing practices.
The standard contract includes:
- 2 broadleaf weed control applications
- 3 turf fertilization treatments
Your scheduled service day will be set at the beginning of the season and communicated by your account manager. Barring weather delays or mid-season changes, your crew will be on site the same day each week. Any changes will be promptly communicated.
Our account managers are always available to schedule on-site meetings to address any concerns or walk the property with you.

Our crew pull and spray weeds as needed during maintenance visits.
Weed control is completed weather-permitting to protect your turf and ensure products work properly. During the months of May through September, our techs complete targeted spot-sprays as needed—we pause if it’s too hot, too windy, or during drought stress.
Pruning is scheduled on a rotational basis throughout the growing season. We will be there twice with an emphasis on pruning, with touch-ups as needed in the fall.
