We are hiring for the following positions…
Account Managers:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing several crews and regular communication with clients through site visits, quality field reports and one-on-one meetings. Good relationship management skills will help with providing enhancement proposals, retaining existing accounts, and in developing new prospects to meet Sebert’s growth goals.
Construction Estimator – Project Manager:
The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for the procurement and analysis of bid opportunities, estimating and selling of projects including takeoffs, pricing, proposals and client follow-up. Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary requirements for this role as project details, scope, schedules and material management will need to be shared with production and operations management. Client and contractor relations are a necessary component of this position.
Maintenance Supervisors:
The Maintenance Supervisor is a hands-on-position that will manage crews and commercial landscape maintenance service schedules. This person will need to understand quality, safety, service, and what it takes to surpass customer expectations.
Pick-up and Delivery of Hardscape Material Equipment – CDL “A” Driver
Pick-up and delivery of “Hardscape” material equipment hauling with dump truck and/or large trailer. Bobcat experience is helpful. Loading and unloading is required of Construction/Enhancement equipment, landscape materials, soil, stone, and mulch. As well as the hauling out of debris and left-over materials in order to keep the yard organized and safe. Winter snow-plowing and salting is available for year-round work opportunities.
Maintenance Field Laborers: Team Leaders and Laborers
Maintenance Team Lead – Ability to operate a truck and trailer. Responsible and able to lead a team by giving direction and guidance. General requirements include, but not limited to, mowing, trimming, pruning, pulling weeds, installing mulch, and communication with the Supervisor and Account Manager. Additional duties include equipment maintenance (oil change, blade change, washing of equipment and vehicles).
Maintenance Laborer – General requirements to include, but not limited to, are mowing, trimming, pruning, pulling weeds, installing mulch, and communication with the Team Lead and Supervisor. Assist with equipment maintenance (oil change, blade change, washing of equipment and vehicles).
Turf Technician – Performs all chemical applications for accounts, both Commercial and Residential. Includes fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and soil enhancers, either liquid or granular in form. Turf applicators are required to maintain a current IL Dept. of Agriculture Pesticide Operators License, which is issued following a passing grade on the required examination.
Irrigation Technician – Ability to understand basic irrigation systems. Responsible for the set up and monitoring of the irrigation system and any repairs that are needed. Must have some prior experience and be a self-motivated and organized individual.
