White Eagle Elementary Giving Tree Program
In partnership with the Aurora Chapter of the Salvation Army, the 5th Graders work to fulfill the wish of a gift for a child in need. Each year the Salvation Army provides over 1,500 gifts to needy children in Aurora and the surrounding area. White Eagle community service volunteers will deliver all gifts collected to the Salvation Army in downtown Aurora.
Elementary school gardens
Promoting the creation of vegetable gardens to children is an ongoing project and each year we facilitate the building of gardens for elementary schools in our communities. Through the construction, the donation of materials or providing the knowledge required for the school to complete the project themselves, the reaction of curiosity and joy on student’s faces to see the completed project is always fulfilling.
